It only provides limited services from outside. Some web services and DWB terminologies and taxonomies are accessible via the internet connection.
Alternative B (green) is appropriate for scientists, research groups, joint research projects and curators affiliated to an institution with a IT department and own network infrastructure. Alternative B provides several options for system and database administation (e. g. remote desktop solutions for MAC). DWB environment B is independent from other data centers and other DWB environments. Some web services and DWB terminologies and taxonomies are accessible via the internet connection.
