DiversityTaxonNamesis part of the database framework Diversity Workbench. All modules of the Workbench are focused on a specific data domain.
DiversityTaxonNames is focussed on the management of taxonomic names. Next to information on the taxonomic name it is designed to document the accepted names, synonymy, hierarchy, geography and common names. DiversityTaxonNames keeps only data connected with the handling of taxonomic names. Data of other realms like, e. g., collection specimen are handled in separate modules. For an overview of the available modules see the Diversity Workbench Main Page.
