NaviKey: This is a tool for querying descriptive data in DELTA format. Until Version 2 it was developed by Michael Bartley and Noel Cross (Harvard University Herbarium, Boston, USA). Now it is maintained and further developed by Dieter Neubacher and Gerhard Rambold (University of Bayreuth, Germany). Version 5 is available as: a) a Java applet providing the contents of DELTA files, b) a stand-alone Java application for both accessing DELTA files and a PostgreSQL versions of DiversityDescription databases, c) a module (“plug-in”) of the Java-based DiversityNavigator database client for DELTA files/DiversityDescription databases.
